This policy covers leibniz.in. It is written plainly on purpose.
What is collected
- If you create an account: your username, email address, and a one-way hash of your password. The password itself is never stored and cannot be recovered from the hash.
- When you sign in: the IP address of the request, a short browser/device description, and the time — kept so that account access can be audited and abuse blocked.
- Nothing at all if you only read the public dashboard beyond ordinary web-server logs.
Cookies
- One essential cookie holds your login session. Without it you cannot stay signed in.
- Your chosen theme is stored in your own browser, not on the server.
- If advertising is enabled on this site, Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads. You can review or change these at Google Ad Settings.
What is never done
Your data is not sold, rented, or shared with third parties for marketing. There is no tracking pixel, no analytics broker, and no data broker of any kind.
How long it is kept
Account details are kept while the account exists. Sign-in records are kept for a limited period for security. When you ask for your account to be deleted, the account, its portfolio and its sign-in records are removed.
Your rights
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you may ask what is held about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be erased. Write to anurag.076123@gmail.com and it will be actioned.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS. Passwords are hashed with bcrypt. Sign-in attempts are rate-limited and repeated failures are locked out. No system is perfectly secure, and this one is run by one person — please do not reuse an important password here.
